School Party

When it's your birthday at Madison's school you celebrate it by bringing in pizza and cupcakes for lunch. Once Madi realized this was tradition she couldn't wait for her birthday so she too could celebrate her special day with her friends. She realized this in March and so we talked about her school party for five months. :)


Tim took the boys with him to help with Madison's birthday party.  They made sure the party was perfect.  Madison was thrilled and the kids loved having another party. I'm so thankful for a camera, because I was able to enjoy her school party even though I wasn't able to be there.

Madison's teacher, Mrs. Terri, asked her who she would like to sit by during her birthday lunch.  All the kids raised their hand in hopes she would pick them.  You would assume she would pick one of the girls in her class, but she didn't.  She picked Jordan, who is a boy that she has been friends with since she started going to this school.

Jordan is on the left of Madison.

Before the kids eat lunch, they always say a prayer. 

"Thank you for the food we eat

Thank you for the birds that sing

Thank you God for everything

Amen, Let's eat"

After lunch it was cupcake time.
