Trunk-or-Treat & Parade

The ward Trunk-or-Treat is always fun. Since two wards combine together there are always plenty of trunks giving out treats.
Instead of eating the hot dogs provided by the ward the Williamson's get together and tailgate in the parking lot.  We had barbecued chicken, cheesy bread, corn, fruit salad and root beer.  It was a lot of fun eating together before the activity.

Dressing up was fun this year because I already had all the costumes except for Bryant's.  Mclain was a mad scientist, Madison was a Brown Bear, I was a runner, and Bryant was Kobe Bryant from the Lakers.

The mad scientist idea went really well with his long hair that he was growing out.

Madi's favorite trunk activity was dancing.  Someone brought a screen and hooked up the Wii game called "Just Dance" and let the kids boogie.

Mclain borrowed flasks from school, we bought dry ice from the local store, and he brought colored water to create the mad scientist lab for our trunk display.  I liked that he ran the booth and passed out candy while Tim and I socialized and enjoy the evening. We bought almost 1000 pieces of candy and we were out by the end of the night.  Great turn out!

Bryant was happy to have a group of friends show up.  It made the evening more enjoyable at this age.

Madison's school had a Halloween Parade and party on October 31st.  The students paraded around the buildings and then back to class so it didn't seem like much of a parade, but the kids were super excited to dress up and walk around.

One of the party activities was to have an older student, your buddy, help you carve your pumpkin.  Looks like Madison and her Buddy tried their best.
